When should I start testing? 🤷🏻‍♀️

My first cycle after getting off of birth control (NuvaRing for years) was 44 days long. My period just ended so I'm on CD 5 now.

My OPK kit says I shouldn't start testing until around day 21 but that seems so late. What if my 2nd cycle post-BC is shorter?

When would you all start testing?
