My daughter came EARLY 30 weeks

So, my water ruptured at 27 weeks and I was admitted to the hospital for mandatory bedrest.

Omg is was TRYING! I had to battle my mind that constantly made me feel like a trapped animal or failed mother.

I was beating myself up over something I had no control of.

Night 1, I was given steroids, magnesium, and antibiotics via injection and IV.

This night was hard! All those drugs at once had me feeling pain and major discomfort!

After that things settled. Until I kept going into labor over and over. They gave me procardia to stop contractions so many times that eventually the perinatal doctor said “NO MORE OF YOU GO TO LABOR AGAIN THEN SHES GOING TO BE BORN”

The medicine was making my lungs and heart work improperly.

So fast forward to July 21 2018. I went I to labor after lunch and I had to wait until 8pm to see if the contractions would stop.

NOPE! They got stronger and we’re every 2 minutes apart.

I went to surgery!

My daughter was born at 8:39pm

Weighing 3pounds 1 oz

15 inches long

And thank God she came out crying and breathing on her own!!

She’s in the NICU now. Doctors say she’s STRONG and she’ll be home in 5 weeks at the longest but judging how well she’s doing she might be home sooner ❤️❤️❤️

I was so afraid of having her early but she’s perfect and I am so blessed!
