Question

My boyfriend and I are talking about having another baby. We’re 19 and he has a great job as a technician for semi trucks and I have stable job until next year when I start a 2 year college program. We don’t live together yet but we’re planning on buying a house by next year if we don’t have a baby.  If we do have a baby that would push our house plans a bit.  I would like to know yalls opinions... please no negative comments, thank you!

Totally your choice. It does sound like your situation is stable but you're also young so you could wait, make it even better and then have a baby. That's probably what I would do.

You sound stable right now, but you also sound like you’re going to get busy soon! It can be hard to manage a toddler while you go to school and not having the house already can also add stress. Ultimately it is up to you what you want to do with your life, you’re not too young or anything, but before you make your decision make sure you think through it all. You would hate to slack on school because of a baby, and you would also hate to be depressed or upset about not having one. Pros and cons, you decide!

I think you guys should work on moving together and you going to college before you have another baby. If you have a baby you might mess up your school and fall behind and you definitely don’t want that. Sounds like you and your man are doing good now and should wait til you maybe finish college and you feel like you are more ready for a second baby.
