Hello! My son is 17 months old and I’m a first time mom. I have noticed lately on social media that other kids his age say many words and my son only says “mama” and “dada”.

I work from home (alone) with my son, and I don’t have any friends with small children really.

He also cries and fusses every time my husband or I try to read to him. I’m not sure why but he has never enjoyed it.

Can anyone share some tips to get him talking more? I’m going cold turkey on the tv today (him and me).

I’m also looking for some tips on how to make Mom friends or get him interacting with other children? I take him to the park but no one plays with him. I need like a class or group activity.
