Is it possible to make a man understand the pain of miscarriage? I want to tell him it is not a joke or something

Best example I can think of. Imagine that someone told you they were going to give you your favorite let say car. This car is your dream car you have been wanting this for years. Now imagine that same person calling you up and telling you sorry I totaled that car on the way to bring it to you. They might be able to get another one but they are not sure when or how long it will be.

No.  Actually no one can really understand how you feel except for yourself.  That being said... It is sensitive and emotional so no it is absolutely not a joke.  Whoever this man is needs a lesson on empathy.

My husband totally didn’t understand. It was the week of Mother’s Day, he finally said he would try and be more sympathetic but didn’t understand. He did make sure to go all out for Mother’s Day, and wrote a sweet card which helped.
