He’s he checking me out?

So I saw this kid today that I had a class with last year but we never really talked but I knew who he was

Anyway he was riding by on his bike and I saw him from a bit of a distance away smiling from ear to ear and he stopped (sorta) and asked me if u was in his class and I said yeah and he like shyly waved and said hi with a huge smile and rode off I didn’t look back to see if he was but am I over hyping the situation?
