Fundal measurements?

Anyone else had a huge difference when measured? I am a size 18, now and pre-pregnancy, about 240lbs. I carry my weight everywhere pretty evenly but with baby growing, the top of my tummy is really where he is sitting. I am 24 weeks and midwife measured my fundal height at 33cm on Monday and ordered an ultrasound because of the difference. Anyone else experience this and have a normal sized baby??

I find fundal height measurements aren’t necessarily that accurate. They vary depending on who’s measuring and if they do it right (especially on larger women). The ultrasound should be more helpful :)

I measured 6 weeks ahead and the doctors didn’t seem to care at all (I asked 2 doctors). I’m almost 300lbs right now at 30 weeks. They said it could be a combo of my size, the baby sitting high, my husband being 6’3”, etc.  They tested me for gestational diabetes and everything is ok, so no one ordered an ultrasound. My next one isn’t for another 3 weeks. I’m asking a third doctor at my visit later this week to see if he thinks something different 🤷‍♀️
