Opk help please

So I started my new package of digital OPKs on cd7 (I know so early) anywho I did it for 2 days and took a break using my digital since my cheap OPKs were light. Well this afternoon my cheap ones were way darker so I took a digital and I got the solid smiley face. Could the 24 hour break of not using the digital mess that up or did I get my surge?
