Thinking about breastfeeding but questions?

I never even tried with my first because I was uncomfortable with the whole idea of breastfeeding. It was probably watching my best friend go through hell, bleed and cry lol. But with this baby I think I might try. 
Moms who exclusively pump what’s that schedule look like? I don’t know how I feel about breastfeeding yet but pumping I think I can do.
What pump? I want the Willow I feel like it would make me the most comfortable 
Any advice and positive comments welcome!

Exclusive Pumping is a much more demanding process than nursing. I’ve been breastfeeding for 18 months, I pumped for 5 months when I first went back to work. It’s absolute misery. If you don’t know how committed you are to breastfeeding pumping exclusively will definitely break you early. In the first 8-12 weeks you literally have to do it every 2/3 hours, all day and night. Including washing all the pump parts, storing the milk, rotating your stock, making sure you have enough defrosted you’ll go through about 30oz a day at least if not more during growth spurts. You pump a lot less than what a baby can nurse, because pumps aren’t as effective as a baby. You will have to plan your entire life around having a place to pump and store all the milk you pump. Nursing isn’t all rainbows and sunshine either. It’s a commitment you make for your child. After about 8 weeks though it’s pretty easy. Working and pumping is what sucks.

I won’t lie, it’s not easy. But breastfeeding (for me) was SO MUCH easier than pumping. I went back to work at 4 mo pp, and it was so difficult keeping up with pumping. As soon as she turned one I quit. I would’ve kept going if not for pumping. Breastfeeding was such a lovely bonding experience between me and my daughter and compared to the hassle of bottles it was definitely the right choice for us. She had a tongue and lip tie that we got corrected at 5 days old, and I had an over-active letdown/oversupply in the beginning, so we weren’t without our struggles but it was totally worth it.
