When do they check your cervix?

Just curious as to how many weeks you have to be to have your cervix checked? I’m 30 weeks and start my every 2 week appointments next weeks.

My dr said they would start checking at 35 weeks
But you can also refuse them

mine started at 36 weeks and checks every week for progress.

I'm 39 weeks today and  I haven't been checked. I don't see the point in it unless I'm having contractions or having other problems

I couldn’t wait to be checked the first pregnancy, always thought yay maybe I’ll be dilated this time! But second pregnancy- now that I know “being checked” basically means having a whole hand up there- nope no thank you. Don’t check me. I’ll let you know when I’m in labor.

Definitely not that early. My OB checks me at 36 weeks based on my previous early delivery. Usually it's 37 weeks or later.
