I'm 34 weeks and I'm getting really frustrated with my ex and his mother. Since he broke up with me, without providing me with a reason I might add apart from "it's not going to work", he has not once checked in on how the baby is. I send him updates when I'm in hospital, after midwife appointments, so he's in the know, but I get literally nothing back from him. He also doesn't engage when I'm trying to get him to talk to me about access and child support; apparently he can't afford access. 🙄

His mother is proving just as bad. Before we broke up, she would listen to me when I was getting worried about my ex's behaviour, but now she's decided she doesn't want to be involved in those discussions and doesn't ever ask about her grandchild or respond if I give her an update.

It just makes me so angry that my innocent baby is going to be ostracized by his paternal family through no fault of his, or even mine. I feel like I've tried to be patient but my ex has blocked me on WhatsApp, Facebook and any of our friends who try to speak to him about the baby get deleted or blocked. All because we want what's best.

And if you're wondering, yes this baby was planned.
