Placenta growing in front?

Yesterday at my scan the Dr told me that my placenta was growing in front and that I won’t feel kicks as soon. Did anyone else have this? When did you feel the baby? I felt my son around 18 weeks. Pic from yesterday 💞 12 weeks 5 days

I didn't feel movement until 19 weeks with my first due to anterior placenta. Hopefully you feel it nice and early 😁

anterior placenta limits feeling baby move.  I didn't feel movements until 22 weeks.

I had anterior placenta with my first. Just means you feel the movements later and don’t feel them as much or as frequently. It’s nothing to worry about tho x

I had an anterior pelvis for two out of four pregnancies... not high risk at all just couldn’t feel baby kick until around 18-20 weeks... also had posterior labour’s for both but not sure if that had anything to do with the placenta

My aunt had the placenta in the front with one of her boys and was considered high risk.
