Clinical research ultrasound?

My doctors office is giving me a free 3D ultrasound at 29 weeks for a clinical research study. has anyone done this? I’m curious about what happens during it. do they measure the baby at all or just show you? and how long? thanks

I think what they do is going to depend on what they are researching so it’s hard to say.  It will be cool though!

i got 3D with my 1st and 3rd covered by my medical. and they do everything they do in a normal ultrasound they get measurements of everything from head to toe with my 4th i had a 4D and pretty much the same as with the other two now expecting #5 and had it done at my 20 weeks anatomy scan not sure if i will have another ultrasound
