Had my first scan a couple days ago...the most amazing experience I’ve ever had! I had over filled my bladder (too keen with the water in the waiting room!) and poor Baba was all squashed up. After relieving myself I was scanned again and it was amazing watching my little pickle wriggle and stretch! A right little dancer!!

I measured up at 11 weeks and 1 day so I’m a week behind what my midwife thought but my cycle has always been all over the place. Buuuut...because Baba was 3mm too small for the screening test it means I get to go back next week for another scan and get to see he/she again...and hopefully a better scan picture! As the sonographer started to snap some pictures Baba decided to turn and face us and then would move again! So we ended up with a face and hands picture which I guess is pretty cute?

Although I’m convinced he/she looks like a wasp...my mum reckons a teddy bear which is much cuter so we’ll go with that!! 🐻
