I used to be on Cryselle 28, I took my last active pill Monday the 23rd. My doctor gave me a prescription for Nuvaring and told me to insert it on the first day of my period which is today. I looked at youtube videos and the instructions, I lied on my back and insert it with my fingers by pinching it in the middle until it made an "8" and pushing it as far back as I could. That was about 2 hours ago. I went to the bathroom to check on it and I can feel it almost sitting low, not near my cervix, like barely inside of me. It's not sticking out of my vagina and it has not come all the way out, but I wonder if its effective since its not sitting near the cervix like the instructions said...has anyone had experience with this?
