Mini pill period?

I’m on the mini pill and this month I didn’t get my normal period. Since last Monday (a week before my due period) I’ve been spotting brown (pink for one week) blood and I’m still spotting very brown blood now and I don’t know if I should record this on my period apps as a period or as spotting?

Because if I don’t record it as a period my apps will say I’m late for weeks which is annoying.
