I remember going to SeaWorld as a child and really enjoying it, but all of that changed when I was old enough to see what was going on.

My MIL has suggested a big family trip to seaworld.

I insisted we go to universal studios, instead.

I explained to her that I wasn’t comfortable going to seaworld, and supporting the way they mistreat animals. I was actually able to use this as a teaching experience for both her and I.

What is your stance on this?

Despite knowing what you know about SeaWorlds abuse, would you still go anyways?

Would you go in order to appease the idea of a “family trip”?

I’m interested to hear what y’all’s opinions on this are, as I still have many friends who take vacations to SeaWorld, even though they’re aware of how the animals are treated.
