Conception date???

Is the conception date the date you actually had sex? Ultrasounds and charts all lead to me concieving on 1/27, I'm due 10/20 I had sex that day but he pulled out and came on a towel...and he peed before sex, maybe earlier that week we had unprotected sex a lot lol. But that particular day we didn't

Not necessarily. Sperm can live in you for up to 5 days, so you could conceive on the day you ovulate, but it could be from sperm that’s from the day you ovulated or 5 days before or somewhere in between. Just depends on which one reached the egg first.

Conception is the day you had sex, but it can take a bit for the sperm to reach the egg. It doesn’t really matter— most people never know exactly when they conceived. That’s why the doctor just goes by your LMP and ultrasound.

Most of the time it’s hard to know the conception date since sperm can live up to around 5 days. I think that’s why they go off of lmp because that is an exact date. Also, you can still get pregnant from the pull out method.

Conception is the date you the egg was fertilized. Hence, the “immaculate conception”..if you’re religious. For example, my estimated date of conception is April 25th. Making me 15 Weeks and 4 Days
