Is it still safe?

I try and take my pill at 11 but find myself at work or out and forget to take my pill so don’t end up taking it until 12 or 1 sometimes. Is a 2 hour difference a huge deal to be still having sex without a condom or should I be fairy safe? (He always pulls out)

Answer

If you're on the combination pill, there's no big issues at all. Being on time is preferable, but it's okay if you're late as long as you take it on the same day (no more than 12 hours late. Then it may count as a missed pill). 
BUT if you're on the progesterone only mini pill, then you're more in trouble. Taking it 3 hours late is considered as a missed pill and will lower effectiveness. It's important to take this one right on time every day.
