When pregnant any reason to call PCP?

Question

When pregnant does EVERYTHING go through your OB? 
I havent seen my PCP (primary care physician) since November. Found I was pregnant in February. And since I tend to call or just meet with my OB. 
I have a constant cough happening after I had allergies/cold 2 weeks ago. 
Does something like this go through OB?
And then just for curiosity is there any reason to see my PCP while under OB care?
I don’t even think my PCP knows Im pregnant!

My OB said if it wasn’t related to pregnancy I should work through PCP. Sinus infections, cold/flu, stuff like that. I still run any the PCP prescribes past OB to make sure they are ok.

No there’s no reason to see or call them. some MIGHT see u but usually they’ll tell u to call ur OB for what meds you can and can’t take.

My ob says anything like that you go through a pcp but I tried 3 different pcps and none would see me during pregnancy so I ended up being told to go to a urgent care facility anytime something non pregnancy happens.

I got bronchitis at the beginning of pregnancy and went to my PCP for antibiotics, but besides that, anything pregnancy related goes through the OB. Everything the PCP prescribed, I emailed the OB to confirm that it was ok before filling the prescription though

I didn't even have a PCP before falling pregnant. Any sickness or concerns that I had during pregnancy I just called my OB office and spoke to one of his nurses. He would later call me back with a prescription or remedy to follow. He even guided me through a phase where my husband had shingles and he gave me instructions so I wouldn't get chicken pox which is bad for pregnant women.

I almost never go to a pcp although I do have one. so any questions I have I just ask my midwife because it may be pregnancy related. also I had a cold/cough and it took a while to go away for me. I also know a lady (who has had 10 kids) and that is a symptom of pregnancy for her.
