so a bit of a background. we planned our 4th baby. everything was going perfect my husband got a great job with good benefits and pay. we paid off our car. we had a house just built a yr ago. we felt confident in having another. well my husband lost his job. our world was torn. I planned to stop trying for baby number 4. I got a job with benefits to keep us going. well my period was late and baby 4 is on her way in November. family and friends know the whole story of what's going on and it's super embarrassing that we are here but it was out of our control. my question is since we are hurting right now can I have a baby shower to help out with baby stuff? I seriously didn't want one and haven't had one since baby number 1. just wondering if this is acceptable?
