I will go to doctor soon. I just get throat infections every month.

only a doctor can diagnose you. it could be something like allergies (nasal passages could be draining), a virus,tonsillitis, mono, the start to strep, etc. No one will be able to give you an idea just by looking. They will probably do a swab when you go in and a small finger prick (if they think its strep or mono). Then they will go from there. best of luck and feel better soon.

I have had sore throats since I could remember! I even got mono in 4th grade 🤒 but since then I always go to the doctor,  get tested for strep and mono,  they come back negative, give me antibiotics that help and something else to take the edge off ( my doctor knows how much pain I'm in) this last time a month ago is what did it. I went in same as usual,  test are negative,  get my antibiotics and go home. not even an hour after being home my throat swelled shut. and I mean I couldn't swollow and barley breathe. after 9 hours in the er, W meds in my iv the whole time for the swelling and another script for the pain. a week later I finally for in to see a EMT, not even seeing him for 5 minutes he declared I needed surgery. I'm going in on the 15th & I CANT WAIT for no more sore throats (hopefully). so see what your doctor says, and if it doesn't help or gets worse,  see an EMT. I feel your pain girl.

Had a viral infection.
But now my throat is like this and still shoots the pain to my ear😫
