I bought before and after. I only received three things at my shower that I actually needed so then I used the registry coupon after to get the rest, but I had a majority of everything before my shower since I found out the gender with genetics testing so i knew really early on what I was having.

A little of both. Waiting for things like stroller, car seat, high chair, most clothes. But still stocking up on diapers and wipes and bought a few outfits I couldn’t resist. Managed to get nursery furniture from friends and family free or very cheap as they posted it in yard sale groups, otherwise we would have probably waited on that also.

I bought before...  and after. with babiesrus and toyrus going out of business I couldn't pass up the deals. I'm glad we did. somethings I wish I waited...  others I'm glad we got it done. saved a lot of money.

I’d wait if ur having a big baby shower. We had a small one so i was already buying stuff. Im a freak about being organized and on time with everything.
