When did you have sex again after your diagnose of hematoma?

2 weeks after a bleed I was cleared but mine was very small at 1cm. I had one with my last baby and it caused a mc it grew to large

I didn’t! I was on pelvic rest due to the hematoma. I had bleeding for ages - 10 weeks. After all that we were both too scared to try it so we’re waiting until after the birth.

I've just had a check up scan and hematoma has now completely cleared up so doc said we could start having sex again if it didn't hurt. I definitely wouldn't if you're bleeding or the hematoma if large but I'd speak a about it to your doctor.

I'm 35 weeks and still haven't. My hematoma turned into a bigger bleed trapped behind the placenta (hardly bled at all. Not bleeding doesn't always mean its gotten better). Since the blood was stuck behind the placenta it caused a piece of it to detach at 22 weeks. So Now I have partial placental abruption and I have to have a lot of nsts and ultrasounds to watch the oxygen and blood levels the baby gets and make sure she is still growing. I wouldnt go crazy worrying about it but I also wouldn't have sex until the doctor does an ultrasound and completely clears you.
