Hey guys. Here’s what I’m dealing with right now. I am a U.S Marine Recruiter out in Nebraska and my ex boyfriend is a Marine veteran currently serving as a wildland firefighter for Team Rubicon and Colorado Bureau of land management. We met while deployed and started dating shortly after meeting. We dated for six months before mutually deciding to part ways due to transitions in our lives. We started talking more and more frequently in April after meeting up again to catch up. Along the way, it became clear that we both still Loved each other, even though we didn’t say it out loud. I worry about him every day that I don’t hear from him due to his duty and I treat it just like a combat deployment. But it scares me to think that every time I hear from him could possibly be the last time I ever will. Advice is needed right now.
