Spotting not so lol¿!¡?

Question

So i just started birth control and i started it a week or so before my period, but i haven’t gotten my period I’ve only been spotting for over a week and a half now. Does that happen sometimes orrrrr is there something wrong with me? My boyfriend comes back Friday and i want it to end if you know what i mean ;))

It sounds like breakthrough bleeding, which is normal for starting birth control. It should stop, mine lasted about a week or two,  but if it continues then go talk to your doc about it. Mine had to up the dose on my BC and that worked for me. It's not a bad thing but it is inconvenient!
