Is she in the wrong, should she apologize? (Trigger Warning)

Something new to debate! Kim Kardashian is being called out by her fans for a post on her Instagram where she takes her sisters comments about looking anorexic as a compliment and even thanks them. As someone in the spot light with many young women as fans do think these comments were appropriate to make? Do you think that she should make a statement apologizing? Or do you think this was “all in good fun”?

Yikes. It’s one thing to be happy about a compliment on your weight loss, but that’s taking it a bit too far: “you look anorexic”.

I watched the video. It kind of seems like Kim wouldn’t shut up with the “tell me more” until they basically told her that she looked anorexic. It’s not an appropriate comment to make, but so much of what the Kardashian’s do is calculated and for attention that an apology would probably just be lip service.🤷🏻‍♀️

They are wrong. Anorexia is a severe, life altering, and DANGEROUS disease. It’s not a “joke” or a goal. 
I struggled with anorexia/bulimia for years. Their statements are damaging and reflect how society demands of a woman’s weight. I find it disgusting all around. 
I was just going to post about this because it really does piss me off. My struggle, and that of all who have dealt with eating disorders, is not a joke and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Kids die every single day because they didn’t get the help needed. It’s something that sticks with you, I still struggle with the thoughts to this day and probably always will. 
She does look good and should be proud of that but since they are public figures they need to represent it in the correct manner.

As someone who was anorexic for a huge part of my teenage years, i dont care. This is how the family communicates and entertains, its their way. They dont need to apologize because a bunch of people think its “rude”.

I don’t think it’s good to glamorize “looking anorexic” coming from someone that has struggled with eating disorders since a young age it’s not pretty. It almost killed me, I looked anorexic. I was dying and you don’t look like Kim Kardashian if you become anorexic. You’ll like death, a skeleton.
