Hair type?

I did a big chop/ full shave 4 months ago after damaging my hair with perms and straightening. I’ve discovered wigs and come to appreciate my hair.

I can’t wait for it to grow out and I can rock it damage free.

I don’t know how to care for my hair however!! I never was taught my father was absent and my mother is white and has no clue what she’s doing.

I’ve looked it up and done my research but it’s really no help because I don’t know my hair type or how to care for it.

Here’s my hair today, 4 months growing strong and non manipulated. Any advice is good advice at this point.
