I personally have been. I was punched in the face by my son's father. It cause my tooth to puncture my lip all the way through and I ended up getting 10 stitches total. Domestic abuse is a horrible and scary thing that sometimes feels impossible to escape but I promise you can get out. You are NOT alone, you are NOT worthless, you CAN survive without him, IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT!

Does step kids being aggressive and violent towards me count. My husband is not but his kid's are. I have been punched kicked shoved my things broken destroyed. Soap in my food and water. There was one incident i took my step daughters phone and she jumped up and shoved me to get to her phone later found out why she was agressive over it she was sexting. same one punched me and lied to the school and said i punched her in the face not true she hit me after i tapped her shoulder to get her attention. Punched me so hard in my breast she broke a blood vessel and had blood come out of my nipple. my step son has shoved me against the wall many times if i try to put him back on the wall for time out he will try to elbow me in the face. he is to old for the wall but not mentally old enough. Other step daughter tried to jump me. she jumped up tried to punch me in the face all over me taking something from her because she was refusing to mind me and clean up her room. same one told her dad she would be good and be respectful she closed the door after her dad turned and just gave me the most God awful evil im going to make your life hell look's i kid you not her eyes narrowed and she got this grinch smile look on her face that sent chills down my spine. last step daughter fighs us tooth and nail she has kicked us when we pick her up to place her in her room will rip the door out of your hand's she will spit on the floor's and throw hour long fit's that result in her body being red and sweat pouring down her face. during those fits as they never clean their room she thrashes all over the ground rolling all over toys books clothing shoes and she end's up with scratches and red dots all over her body. she kicks the walls floor's and punches them as well. i have had to restrain her to keep her from hurting herself and other's. so yes i think i have been abused by them mentally and physically. yes they are on meds yes the seen a therapist they all do way better when they dont see their real mom.

My ex fiancé and I decided to be friends, months after he ended things. Okay, cool. We got in a fight at my house so I was driving him home and he casually picked up my phone. I was talking to someone new and he didn’t like that at all. While I was driving, he punched me multiple times, knocked my glasses off of my face, causing me to swerve and hit a curb. Ended up calling the cops and dealing with that. Got a restraining order. All was well and then his father started showing up at my house, tried to break in, and threatened to punch me for ruining his sons life.. It was all messed up and almost a year later, I’m starting to finally do alright.

My dad chocked me when I called him a fucking asshole and a disgusting person because he was cheating on my amazing and loving mom who was faithful to him did everything for her family. He was angry because his mistress cheated on him and I basically cracked him when I called him those names. I was 13 and my mom didn’t get to me in time and he was too strong for her.

my mom's bf used to hit me and try to fight on me when we used to get into it until I started to take up for myself. Now we don't talk or go near each other at all. I haven't really had an actual conversation with him in over a year unless we're arguing and it's weird bc we live in the same house lol. but yeah he doesn't dare do anything like that to me anymore bc I'm not scared to defend myself and my boyfriend would get involved 🤷.
