Luck with 2.5mg letrozole?

Question

I see lots of women taking the 5mg but my doc only gave me the 2.5. I’m still on my progersterone pill trying to get my period to come back but I’ve worked myself up that the 2.5mg won’t work for us. Whose taken the 2.5 and had it work?

Second round of letrozole days 3-7 2.5mgs now 5weeks pregnant, Babydust sweetie.

I just got my positive test this morning and it was my first round with 2.5!

The first time I got pregnant I was on the low doses. Mind you it took six cycles but it worked. This time it was doubled and I got pregnant the first month. Usually dr monitors your progesterone in day 21 and if it is still low they will up your dose. No use in using a higher dose if you don’t know if you need it.

I started on 2.5 and it didn’t work, and went to 5mg the next month and it did. Not sure if that had more to do with the days I took it than the dosage though, as i started taking it earlier the second month. Good luck.

I’m in the same boat as you I just started taking provera and then in cycle day 5-9 I took femera yesterday was cd 9 so we shall see if it works 🙌🏻

I was wondering the same. I’m on 2.5 and this is my 3rd month on it. When or why do they decide to up it I wonder.

Update: It didn’t work for me. I got more Provera and have started a period so tomorrow I start 5mg of letrozole. Here’s hoping.
