How early can Braxton hicks start?

Everything online says 16 weeks, but my doctor claims that's far too early.

According to this app they can start as early at 13 weeks. It’s just ur body prepping for labor... it can also mean you need to drink more water or you need to take a break or ease up on something your doing. I had tons of them between 17-20 weeks but now I hardly have any. I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant with no complications

Mine started around 16 weeks.  Infrequent and painless (just weird feeling!) but definitely there.

Mine started very clearly at 16 weeks with my first. And I had them many many times per day the entire rest of the pregnancy

i had got my braxton hicks about 17weeks doctor also told me it was too early for them but i had cramps and she could never explain what they where
