IB maybe hopefully

Hello I'm 40 I ovulated on 7/28 We did the BD late on 7/26. AF is due 8/10. I started spotting 8/5 and 8/6 which were 8 and 9 do. It was very light n watery pinkish brown on one day. Took an hpt @9 dpo got a bun and nothing today tho when I wipe. Did I test too early?
