Did you work in college?

Question

Did you have a job throughout college? Was it full time or part time, and did you do school full or part time? Was it difficult to balance both? I’m thinking about getting a job while I’m in school but I also don’t want it to negatively effect my grades or anything. Thanks

I went to college 8am-4pm 5 days a week and worked 5pm-12am 5 days a week and 8am-12am over the weekend☺️

I had both physical and learning disabilities in college, so I struggled greatly just doing a part time school load. I only took 9 credit hrs, but I still spend 10 hrs a night doing schoolwork, and that was to just pull a 2.8 GPA. It was hard, I could not imagine working. I dont know how they do it, wish I could do that. 
Guess its up to you whether you want to, if you believe you can pull that off

I’m a full time college student in my 3rd year and I actually have 3 jobs 😂😂 two are both part time retail jobs, and the other is working with kids only 12 hrs per week. Don’t be like me, but I would def recommend ONE part time job during school!

I worked two part time jobs and went to school full time. I worked at a coffee shop early in the morning (4:30-10:30) 3 or 4 days a week, had classes in the afternoon, and then would work a few evenings a week, holidays, and one weekend day a week at my retail job. It was hard, but what helped me the most was finding jobs that were willing to give me a set schedule.

I went to school part time and worked two jobs. I couldn’t afford full time school AND rent and stuff.

I had a full university class schedule, 8am till 9pm, Monday through Thursday.
I went home every weekend and worked as a waitress at a country club Friday and Saturday.
It wasn’t a lot of money, but enough to put away to help pay my student loans.
