It wasn't that bad tbh it hurt like a 3 but only for a second, i have mine since february this year and have not had any issues.

Had mine done didnt even hurt bad at all more of like a tearing it felt like... they bleed for a little and they get crusty for a few months... i ended up finding out I was pregnant only a month or two later and needed to take them out at 4 months pregnant bc I needed an MRI... I wouldnt do it, not really worth it tbh
