How to pass time at work?

I ask everyone at work if there's anything I need to do and no one has any assignments for me . So I'm not like shirking I just genuinely have nothing to do . What do you do to pass the time at work ? I only have a few days left here anyway .

Depends on what you do for work? I work in a nursing home as a housekeeper. When my list of stuff is done and I have and hour left I go socialize with the residents which is also part of my job. 
So there are plenty of things to do. If you work with customers, interact with them. Straighten up the office or reorganize paperwork....
