Today the nurse who drew my blood informed me that if i do have GD that it could cause my baby to have something extra like a finger or toe.. also the possibility of a stillborn?? she made me feel even more worried ): i hope i passed this 3 hour GD test ...

well that's obnoxious of her to say. I've never heard of the extra appendages risk, but there is an increase risk of stillbirth. my specialist said the risk increases when you go past your due date though. that's one reason why so many docs have GD patients induce on or before due date.
