Update: Swaddle me by your side deluxe.. is this safe?

I purchased this to use as a bassinet, I didn’t realize it was meant to be a co-sleeper in the bed. I want to put it on the nightstand table next to my head like this... would you recommend it or have any other suggestions?

It will be pushed back towards the wall a little more once I take the alarm clock off the stand, I was just seeing if it fit length wise.

Update: so I brought up some things you ladies said to my husband and we have decided to return it and purchase something else. Thank you so much for all the advice!!!
