NT scan & blood test for gender?

Just had my NT scan yesterday, they did an ultrasound and blood test (where they prick your finger and get the blood-print on a card... its not the NIPT) and I was told you can know the gender from that blood test (again, its not the NIPT) I was skeptical as I know its only the NIPT that gives you the gender, is this not true? Can you really get the gender from the NT blood test too?

You definitely cannot determine gender from the blood prick version. Only the full blood draw

I was told I had two genetic testing options: NT scan with blood test or just the third-party blood test. Only the third-party blood test has gender as part of it which is what my doctor said would be the benefit of that over the standard scan and blood work. If you did the NT scan and blood work it is not likely you will find out the gender, but that just gives you something to look forward to in a few more weeks!

i had a harmony test done at 10 weeks & got the gender! basically they test to see if you have male hormones or not when they test for down syndrome & cystic fibrosis
