Am I the only one who didn’t get to have a gender reveal or baby shower ?

I didn’t with my first and won’t with my second but I think it’s mainly because I live in a different country from family. I’m sure my husband’s family would have wanted us to have a baby shower if we lived nearby. 
Either way, we make it work.

Nope, I didn’t have one because I felt nobody I invited would come. I didn’t announce my pregnancy until I found out the gender. My mom was actually supposed to throw me a shower I was excited because it’s my first girl(I have 3 boys, my friend threw me a shower for 3rd boy) and she disappeared and disappointed me once again. She was supposed to do one for my 3rd and did the same thing. But I should of known better she always does this to me. I was hurt but my baby will be fine.
