My daughter turned 1 last week and I still nurse her to sleep each night. i love it. i think its a bonding thing. But my ex,we are separated,thinks its stupid. Also one of my girlfriends makes fun of me too. i dont let it bother me much,but I wonder...
I plan on stopping next 6 months btw

There are still benefits to breast milk. The WHO recommends breastfeeding until two, actually. It's not stupid. Only you know when weaning is right. I was going to breastfeed until two but had to stop at fifteen months due to a second pregnancy drying up my supply. I say, more power to you! You're doing a great thing for your baby.

I breastfed until 14 months and had enough stash for her to have breast milk until 16 months. I would have gone longer if possible, but serval things factored into stopping for me at that time. I would have loved to go until 2. There isn’t anything weird about it!
