Has anyone adopted privately? Like an independent adoption?

And has anyone adopted through an agency?

Someone on my Facebook is considering abortion due to unforeseen circumstances and it got me thinking about what I could do to help if she decided to keep the pregnancy. I am supporting her regardless but told her to contact me if she wants to give them up for adoption. She’s 24 weeks and found out it’s twins. My boyfriend and I pretty much based our relationship off of the fact that we both have wanted to adopt for a long while. He’s 25 and I’m 21. I am worried we are going to be seen as too young or inexperienced. Maybe I’m just worried over nothing. We’d get married in the event she chose to give them to us.

However if she chooses to abort we’d still like to adopt twins in the future. What are your opinions on both types of adoptions. Thank you!
