a crush square...?

so my best friend and i are super close. like she is my right hand. i have this crush on a guy and lets name him pop tart. Poptart is this super sweet nice guy who i’ve like for a while now. we’ve acknowledged each other and he is super nice to me but whenever i try to talk to him i freeze up. so one day i was in gym with his best friend named s’mores (idk) so me and s’mores are good friends to so we joke a lot and we hang out. but my best friend like s’mores so i try to hook her up w him and they hang out sometimes but not a lot. but once i started hangin out w s’mores i realized that i kinda like him. so i couldn’t keep it from my best friend and i had to tell her. so at a sleepover i told her i liked smores and she was chill w it and i was like “whattt” and then she told me that she liked the poptart. so i kinda feel relieved that she doesn’t hate me but i’m nervous for the situation that are to come. any advice?
