Am I out yet?

Question

So on Sunday (8.12.18) my period was due. I never started.. so I decided I would take a test on Monday which also, no period. So I took a digital pregnancy test and it said “not pregnant” 
I literally bawled my eyes out. But still have not started my period. So idk how to feel. Or if I should just count myself out already?!
Update: still no period. And still no BFP 😭 what is going on?!?!

Take a pink dye one you honestly just might now have enough hcg for the digital ones 🤷🏼‍♀️ I didn’t get my bfp till day 55 of my cycle

Literally same. Period was due Sunday and I took a FRER (gold packaging) digital yesterday and it came back negative. I'm never late so I was either dying or pregnant so I took another test (Clear Blue) w/ lines today and I'm pregnant. To be fair: the digital was defective and I didn't realize it until I read the instructions later. Those digital tests are a whole thing. I'd test again.

Take a pink dye test. Digitals require more hcg to show up positive
