I’m a nanny and the people I work for have a camera in their living room. They were upfront about it and don’t use it after the kids are in bed and I don’t mind it bc I have nothing to hide when I’m with the kids. Just an option that wasn’t listed

I've been a nanny for two families and neither did any of this via apps.
no cameras. no trackers. at the end of the day I would give a small report- poop, eating, small how the day went. 
we send each other photos all the time just because we both love the children. and she writes down her schedule on the calendar and I write down under it the hours I worked.

I say get a cam and a 2 way at that if they aren’t doing anything inappropriate, it should not make a nanny uncomfortable. I don’t think you should be obligated to tell where they are located, just that you have them should be fine.
