Secondary Infertility

I love how some people say “well you already have kids. You can’t be infertile!”

Like yeah, you can.

I had three kids from a previous partner. Different sperm, different genetics.

Just because that came easy(please don’t take that as bragging) doesn’t mean it’s easy this time. Its officially been a year that we’ve been trying.

I don’t tell real life people about what we’re going though because I’m met with “but you guys already have kids” “don’t you think you’re too old to start over again?” (I’m 37)

I’m 37, my boyfriend is 27. He has no children of his own. I know he cares for my kids(ages 18, 16, and 9), but he didn’t raise them. He wants to raise a child, HIS child.

Why do people think they know what’s best for us?
