Will we struggle?!

I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant, me and my partner don’t live together but we viewed a house yesterday that we really liked. 
The rent and bills will come to about £800 pcm. Between me and my partner we make £2,500 a month. Then paying for travel to and from work, then food and anything else we need throughout the month with a baby on the way. 
Does this seem like we will struggle!? I have never lived without my parents and I’m really really scared!!!

Where do you live? Why don't you see if your council can give you a hand? I know plenty of women who have kids and have had the council help towards their rent. It's worth a try.

You should sit down and make a budget. There are tons of templates online.

Housing should generally not cost more than 25-30% of your income, if it does you might really struggle once all other expenses are accounted for. You’re at about 32% with those numbers so it’s doable but might be a little tight.
