How should I do my hair for picture day? READ DESCRIPTION

My problem is that my hair is so long and thick and frizzy that it takes up more room than my face does. And I don't have access to things such as a straightener, curling iron, hair spray, hair gel, etc. My hair is naturally straightish, but my flyaways are very curly, so getting them wet doesn't do much to tame them. Hair pins/hair clips don't work either, I just have too much hair. If anyone has any suggestions on how to take them, please tell me!
