I need encouragement - epidural.

I know im going to want an epidural when I give birth. Im not scared of the needles, at all. What im scared of is having no feeling in the lower half of my body. How is that? It just seems scary to me. I might be crazy, but that is the scariest part to me, to not feel my legs. How do I deal?
