Preseason!!!

I’m starting preseason (practicing for sports before school starts) August 31st and I play a sport that requires a lot of running, bending, and moving a lot (field hockey if you’ve heard of it.) I heard there’s a lot of conditioning too: running laps, ab workouts, and more. One slight problem IM SUPPOSED TO GET MY PERIOD THEN🙂🙂🙂🙂. I’m going to be a freshman so it’s my first year and idk many people. Any advice for inducing/delaying a period? Or how do you deal with periods while playing sports?
