Is it just me or do most people who are successful with ivf/ FET have boys?!

I’ve read similar articles about there being more boys than girls through ivf. I am on my second IVF cycle and keep your fingers crossed we can get some gals in there, my husband’s family is notorious for having all boys from the father side 🤞🏽

I’ve noticed that at our clinic too!! I have read several studies that the median used to hold the embryos while they grow can affect man vs female survival (higher glucose medians support male embryos while females prefer lower).

I’m pretty sure it’s 50/50. Unless they are pgs tested embryos and the patient chooses the boy. Then natural stats don’t apply.

it's actual statistics that people doing icsi get 53%  boys, IVF is about 51% or something like that, dont remember the exact numbers tho. no idea about iui.
it's most likely because the boy-sperm are the fastest, and therefore naturally favored in the cleaning progress.

I personally know three friends/relatives who have done ivf. There are three boys and one girl among them. 
This is interesting. I never thought much about it. I wonder if there is something to the process, washing solutions, or medium that favors boys slightly
